EXPO2025 プロジェクションマッピング選考員発表 グローバル視点で作品選出へ
催事企画プロデューサー小橋賢児氏、ドバイ万博で活躍のMaxin10sity、 プロジェクションマッピングの世界的第一人者 石多未知行らが選考

2025年4月13日から10月13日まで開催される大阪・関西万博にて、EXPOホール“シャインハット”を舞台に一般の方から応募があった作品を投影する「プロジェクションマッピング公募プロジェクト」の選考員情報が公開となりました。
EXPO 2025の催事企画プロデューサー小橋賢児氏をはじめ、日本発・世界最大級のプロジェクションマッピング国際大会をプロデュースする石多未知行氏、ドバイ万博でも活躍した世界的クリエイターMaxin10sity (マキシンテンシティー)と世界各国で受賞歴を持つビジュアルアーティストAVA Animation & Visual Arts（アヴァ アニメーション & ビジュアルアーツ）の4組が名を連ね、グローバルな視点で作品を選出します。
また、世界各国から寄せられ選考により選ばれた作品は、万博期間中シャインハット壁面にプロジェクションマッピングで投映されます。
なお、本プロジェクトは、公益社団法人2025年日本国際博覧会協会 が主催し、世界最大級のプロジェクションマッピング国際大会を長年にわたり実施している 一般財団法人プロジェクションマッピング協会（本社：東京都渋谷区、代表理事：石多未知行）が企画・運営を担当しています。

クリエイティブディレクター／プロデューサー。『ULTRA JAPAN』や『STAR ISLAND』を成功に導き、東京2020パラリンピック閉会式や大阪・関西万博の催事企画プロデューサーを務める。
ドローンショー『CONTACT』で日本イベントアワード最優秀賞受賞。都市開発や地方創生にも携わる。
小橋 賢児氏 コメント：
万博は184日間にわたり、世界中の多様な人々が交差し、つながる場です。このシャインハットのマッピングもまた、その変化の一部として、人々や自然、そしていのちと映像が交差し続けるような作品になるのではないかと期待しています。何度訪れても新たな発見がある、そんな映像体験と出会えることを楽しみにしています。
石多 未知行（いした みちゆき）
一般財団法人プロジェクションマッピング協会 代表。日本発・世界最大級のプロジェクションマッピング国際大会「1minute Projection Mapping Competition」の生みの親。同大会の総合プロデューサー兼審査員長を務める他、都庁常設マッピングのコンテンツ企画・演出など数々のプロジェクトを手掛ける。
石多 未知行氏 コメント：
この万博は単に来場して楽しむだけでなく、多くの多様な人々が参加し、そして未来へ発信する場を目指しています。この企画でも未来への「希望」や「ビジョン」を持った作品を数多く紹介したいと思っていますので、クリエイターはもちろん、国籍も老若男女も問わず想いのこもった作品のご応募をお待ちしております。
Maxin10sity（マキシンテンシティー）
ハンガリーを拠点とする映像制作チーム。世界各国の巨大なプロジェクションマッピングフェスティバルで活躍、2020年のドバイ万博でも、アルワスル・ドームでの壮大なプロジェクションを手掛け、世界中の注目を集めた。今回、招待作家としても作品を提供。

AVA Animation & Visual Arts（アヴァ アニメーション & ビジュアルアーツ）
カナダを拠点に活動するクリエイティブスタジオ。プロジェクションマッピングの分野で数々の国際的な賞を受賞。ポップで華やかなビジュアルは高いクリエイティビティを誇り、そこに技術的知識も加えた総合プロダクションとして国際的に活躍。今回、招待作家としても作品を提供。

EXPOホール『シャインハット』プロジェクションマッピング投映プロジェクトについて
世界中から多くの人々が集まる大阪関西万博の心臓部、EXPOホール「シャインハット」。
この会期中、その力強く個性的な壁面に皆さまの映像作品が巨大投映される特別なキャンバスとなります。
このプロジェクトは、応募者の多様な作品で構成される「参加型展示プログラム」です。皆さんの描くアイデアやイメージが、プロジェクションマッピングとして上映され、世界から注目される巨大イベントを華やかに彩ります。世界中の多くの方へ向けて、未来へのメッセージを届けましょう。

EXPO 2025 Projection Mapping Selection Panel Announcement Selecting Works with a Global Perspective
Kenji Kohashi, event planning producer, Maxin10sity, who excelled at the Dubai Expo,
Michiyuki Ishita, a global authority on projection mapping, and others will make the selection.
Information on the selection panel for the ‘Projection Mapping Public Call Project,’ which will showcase works submitted by the general public onto the EXPO Hall ‘Shining Hat’ during the Expo 2025 Kansai, Osaka, Japan, held from April 13 to October 13, 2025, has been released.
The panel includes Kenji Kohashi, the event planning producer for EXPO 2025; Michiyuki Ishita, the producer of one of the world’s largest international projection mapping competitions originating from Japan; the globally recognized creator Maxin10sity, who also made an impact at the Dubai Expo; and the award-winning visual artist AVA Animation & Visual Arts, who will select works from a global perspective.
Works selected through the selection process from submissions around the world will be projected onto the outer wall of the Shining Hat during the Expo period.
This project is organized by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition, and the planning and operation are handled by the Projection Mapping Association of Japan (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director : Michiyuki Ishita), which has been organising the one of the world’s largest international projection mapping competitions for many years.

Kenji Kohashi
Creative Director / Producer
Led the success of “ULTRA JAPAN” and “STAR ISLAND,” and served as the event planning producer for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic closing ceremony and the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. Winner of the Japan Event Award for the drone show “CONTACT”. Also involved in urban development and regional revitalization.
Comment:
The Expo is a place where diverse people from all over the world intersect and connect over 184 days. I hope that the mapping of this Shining Hat will also be a part of that transformation, and that it will be a work in which people, nature and life continue to intersect through images. I look forward to encountering a visual experience, where new discoveries can be made no matter how many times you visit.
Michiyuki Ishita
Representative Director of Projection Mapping Association of Japan. Creator of the 1minute Projection Mapping Competition, one of the world’s largest international projection mapping competitions, which originated in Japan. In addition to being the overall producer and head of the jury for the competition, he has been involved in a number of projects, including planning and directing the content for the permanent mapping at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.
Comment:
This expo aims to be a place not only for visitors to come and enjoy but also for many diverse people to participate and share their messages for the future. Through this project, we hope to showcase numerous works that embody “hope” and “visions” for the future. We welcome submissions of heartfelt works from creators, as well as people of all nationalities, ages and genders.
Maxin10sity
A Hungary-based video production team. They have been active in massive projection mapping festivals around the world and garnered global attention for their spectacular projection on the Al Wasl Dome at the Dubai Expo 2020. This time, they are also contributing a work as invited artist.

AVA Animation & Visual Arts
A creative studio based in Canada. They have won numerous international awards in the field of projection mapping. They boast a high level of creativity in pop and glamorous visuals, and are active internationally as a comprehensive production company with added technical expertise. They have provided a work as an invited artist for the project.
Comment:
It is a great honor for us to participate in EXPO 2025 as an invited artist and member of the selection panel members. The theme of “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” is both a creative challenge and a great responsibility for us. We hope that through art, people will find joy and hope in their daily lives and feel that positive actions will lead to a better future.

EXPO Hall “Shining Hat” Projection Mapping Project
The Expo Hall “Shining Hat” is the heart of the Expo 2025, Kansai, Osaka, Japan which attracts many people from all over the world.
During the Expo, this powerful and unique wall will become a special canvas on which your video work will be projected on a giant scale.
This project is a “participatory exhibition program” consisting of diverse works by applicants. Your ideas and images will be shown as projection mappings, and will be used to add color to this huge event that will attract attention from around the world. Let’s deliver a message to the future to many people around the world.
